The Client
Dori is an executive salesperson working for an international organisation in which her team operates as her own business of four members. She chose coaching because she wanted to bring greater balance into her life and reconnect with the goals and values that mattered most to her particularly around family and her personal life.
She wanted to understand how to say “No” without guilt, while also finding her place and continuing to grow professionally.
The Challenge
Dori recognised that the demands of her professional and personal life were making it difficult to maintain the balance she wanted.
She wanted to:
Reconnect with her personal values and priorities
Create greater balance between work and life
Become more comfortable saying “No”
Recognise and address blind spots
Reduce negative thinking patterns
Develop greater self-compassion
Continue growing both personally and professionally
The Approach
Dori completed the Resilience Program and committed to regular monthly check-ins.
These sessions provided an opportunity to explore blind spots, identify opportunities for growth and turn the learning from the program into practical habits in her everyday life.
A key part of her development was learning Blameless Discernment: developing the ability to recognise what was happening without becoming caught in blame, while responding with greater clarity, empathy and self-compassion.
The Outcome
Within a short period of time, Dori began to notice a meaningful shift.
She reported finding greater balance between her professional and personal life and the people around her noticed the difference too.
With practice, Dori developed respectful ways to say “No” and let it go, rather than carrying unnecessary guilt or negative thinking with her.
She also became more aware of her negative mindsets and learned to respond to herself with greater grace and compassion.
Most importantly, the learning became part of her daily life. She integrated new habits and began applying them naturally beyond our sessions.
The Difference
Through this mindset shift, Dori experienced a greater sense of freedom and well-being.
She became more adept at using Blameless Discernment and developed greater empathy for herself and others.
Today, she is able to approach each day with a greater sense of possibility and a more positive outlook.
The goal wasn't simply to change how Dori worked. It was to help her create a way of working and living that felt more aligned with what mattered to her.
The Right Summit Approach
Reflect. Reframe. Practice. Integrate. Grow.
Coaching created the space for Dori to understand her patterns, identify what needed to change and turn new ways of thinking into everyday habits.
The result: greater balance, greater self-compassion, and greater freedom to choose how she shows up—both professionally and personally.
Dori's experience is not typical nor guaranteed; this is a true case of an individual client story.
